      <image:title>Worthy of Weight Loss - I didn’t always feel this free in my body…</image:title>
      <image:caption>I used to pick myself apart in the mirror, only focusing on the things I wanted to “fix” about my body. I would say things like “I need to workout” or “I need to go on a diet,” not because I wanted to but because I thought I had to in order to fit a certain beauty standard. So I would force myself to go the gym (sometimes), eat food I thought was healthy during the week, and then eat mostly fast food + drink a lot of alcohol on the weekends. I had minimal knowledge on how my thoughts, my words, and the food I was consuming were effecting my physical, mental, and emotional health. Thankfully, my work in healthcare opened me up to wanting to learn more about why so many people were suffering with chronic diseases. This curiosity lead me to discover books, documentaries, and courses on nutrition, yoga, meditation, and fitness. Putting this new found knowledge into my own personal practice was a complete game changer for my life and my health. I now eat healthy foods, exercise regularly, practice yoga and meditation (among many other helpful things), not because I feel I have to but because I LOVE how it makes me feel!</image:caption>

It started out with hard core working out and I then later began focusing on healthy eating. Most recently I had the opportunity to have one on one consultation with Carrie Noel. She met me where I was at. I completed a very detailed intake form and she took the time to tailor her recommendations and resources to fit my needs. Here's the high points of what I learned: 1. Self Love… 2. Daily intense workouts were hard on my body and in the long run were only wearing me down! 3. Nutrition! I was eating healthy food, but I was not taking in enough calories for the amount of energy exerted. 4.
