About Me

I’m Carrie, a nature-loving wellness enthusiast with a passion for helping others improve their health and wellbeing. After working in conventional healthcare (AKA “sick-care”) for the past decade, I’ve become more and more intrigued in understanding why so many people are living with dis-ease.

The more I read and researched, the more I began to discover how lifestyle and everyday habits, such as the food we eat, our environment, our thoughts, and lack of safe movement can drastically effect our well-being and can lead to many of the chronic health issues people are suffering.

When I found out about the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), I knew right away that I wanted to become a Holistic Health Coach so that I could help people create sustainable lifestyle changes so they could start feeling their best. While studying at IIN, I began implementing much of what I was learning into my own life and started noticing changes not just in my physical body and how I felt but also in my state of mind.

By gradually introducing healthier habits into my life, such as cooking and eating more real whole-foods, moving my body more often, spending more time outdoors, surrounding myself with positive and supportive people, practicing yoga, meditation, and mindfulness, I started to feel more energized, happier, and more confident in myself.

My journey has made me even more determined to help others feel more at ease and discover more joy in their lives! It’s not about being perfect or trying the next fad-diet, but finding what allows each unique individual’s mind, body, and soul to thrive in a natural and sustainable way.
